Our bar is fully stocked and our petrol station carries both diesel and unleaded — with no other fuel stop between Hell's Gate and Borroloola, 320km away. Don't leave without a full tank.

Don't get stuck on the Savannah Way — fill up at Hell's Gate Roadhouse. Our petrol station is located between Doomadgee and Borroloola and is open 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm, with both diesel and unleaded available. Hell's Gate – Borroloola: 320km | Hell's Gate – Doomadgee: 80km Planning to push on to Borroloola? Don't leave without a full tank — there are no petrol stations between Hell's Gate and Borroloola. Our friendly team is here to make sure you hit the road safely and confidently.
Food
Our restaurant has its own chef and is open 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stop for a quick lunch or sit down and relax enjoying a tasty meal. We offer classics such as toasties, burgers and pies as well as homemade salads, quiche and wraps. We cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free guests. Staying the night? Book in for our home-cooked dinner by 5.30pm — the menu changes every night and it always sells out. Or simply take a break with a devilishly good homemade cake and a real coffee.

Enjoy the beautiful outback sunsets with your favourite drink. Our bar is stocked with a great selection of beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks — drop in, say hello and stay a while. Whether you're a weary traveller needing to unwind or just passing through for a quick cold one, you'll always find a warm welcome at the bar. The outback sky at sunset is something special — and it's even better with a drink in hand. Please note: we don't sell takeaway alcohol.
