Our family owned roadhouse is located on the Cliffdale Station, 50km east of the Northern Territory/Queensland border. We have been welcoming travellers since 1986. You are invited to take a break, enjoy delicious meals, homemade cakes, real coffee and refreshing drinks. Our outback oasis offers budget and ensuited acoommodation as well as a campground for your overnight stays. Green grass!

Fabulous spot to pull up for the night. The owners were super helpful and the best part ..... GRASS ! After a long day of dirt driving it was lovely to find a nice green spot under the trees with lovely clean amenities.

Nice scenic Heli flights

Nice sealed road from Burketown (bar 10km) International Airport was a surprise. Nice scenic Heli flights to swimming spot. Sunset flights. Fishing flights etc. Must have: Hell's Gate Burger and chips. Beer & wine options available. Get in before noon for pick of powered sites...

Our cabin had all you need

Loved our stay here. Our cabin had all you need and was a good size and comfortable. Good pub food and great atmosphere around the fire in the beer garden. Happy, helpful staff.

Fantastic entertainment

Great spot to stop and shake the dust off after a hard day of corrugations. The staff is friendly and helpful. Meals are delicious and fantastic entertainment by Timbo the fire throwing man !

Great Spot

Great spot for an overnight stopover. Good shady campsites, very clean amenities, very relaxing bar offering refreshing cold beverages, the bar and dining area had a lot of character. The staff were very friendly with good old country hospitality and sense of humour.

Soooo friendly

Soooo friendly here. We were just passing by & got fuel, but the camping area looked so green & lush, looked like it would have been a lovely place to camp for the night.
